We have 6 locations in Hong Kong and China, over 60 office employees, with annual turnover of US$30 million. Our marketing network covers more than 200 major cities in East Asia.
A green history – a pioneer in re-using monitor tubes
In company history, our first breakthrough was the development of technology for re-using TV CRT tubes. Back in 1996 we were among the first handful of companies who had the know-how. A few years later we developed technology that enabled us to become one of the pioneering recyclers and re-users for computer monitors. As one of our dominant products, over 4,000,000 units of monitor tubes had been re-used over the past 12 years.
Our main outputs were
1. Remanufactured PC monitors and TV sets, about 70%. The tubes went through checking, testing, repairing, refurbishing and were re-used to make monitors or TV sets.
2. Refurbished monitors and other PC parts for resale, about 25%.
3. Recycled materials made up the rest: electronic components and parts, metals, glass and plastics etc. Circuit boards went to refineries, and glass went to CRT tube makers.
Over the years, we had established an integrated streamline process of purchasing, storage, categorizing, checking, testing, repairing, refurbishing and re-using. We have been trying to maximize the reusability and value of used computer products. This handling streamline has been proved successful to serve our customers.
